Tully's Renovation Work to Begin April 28

Housing and Food Services is excited to announce that renovations to Tully’s Café in Perkins Student Center will begin on April 28.

Highlights of the $4.5 million renovation include:

  • An open-concept floorplan
  • A new pasta station
  • Modern and inviting seating arrangements and furniture
  • Digital menu boards
  • Stacked cashier stations for more efficient use of space
  • Built-in Penn State Eats pickup area for added mobile ordering convenience
  • Increased seating capacity for 200
  • Multi-use stage, acoustic tiles, black-out blinds, and built-in projector
  • New dish return

With Tully’s closing just as finals begin, students will be treated to a limited-time engagement with the Rolling Lion, Penn State’s traveling food truck. Stationed near the Woods and Village housing complexes, the Rolling Lion will be open for lunch Sunday, April 28 through Thursday, May 2. Dining options and limited mobile ordering will also be available out of Perkins Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) 2. Extended hours will be available at Creekside Market, offering grab ‘n’ go, beverages, and prepackaged items for students’ convenience.

“We’re excited and thankful that we can invest in improvements to the student experience here at Tully’s and at Penn State Berks,” said Linda MacDuff, director of Housing and Food Services. “With the introduction of the new floorplan and seating options, we’re confident that Tully’s will continue to serve as a vibrant hub for community engagement and provide excellent dining options to our students and guests.”

We look forward to welcoming incoming and returning students, their families, and the rest of our campus community to the all-new Tully’s during arrival week 2024.
