University Housing will close for Spring Break on Saturday, March 4 at noon. The deadline to request Break Housing in eLiving is noon on February 24.

Penn State launched its new mobile id+ card, allowing students to use their iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android device to access campus housing facilities and conveniently and securely make transactions such as purchasing meals across the University.

Penn State is launching a new id+ card to advance the University’s digital campus initiative in support of One Penn State 2025. The new campus card will have an updated design and several new contactless features that create a user-friendly digital experience for the Penn State community.

All Penn State residential campuses will host Swipe Out Hunger in conjunction with Earth Week 2022. During the week of April 18-22, students have the option to donate $5, $10, or $15 to the Student Emergency Fund when they pay for their meal at any residential dining facility or through a Penn State Eats mobile order.

Penn State Sushi Vendor Gives Back to Community

Saikou, a Mechanicsburg-based sushi company that furnishes sushi and poke products to all dining commons at Penn State University Park, donated one dollar for each of the approximately 1,300 boxes of sushi sold on Homecoming Gameday (October 23 vs Illinois) to the Central PA Food Bank. The company also donated $1,500 to the Food Bank and plans a similar donation during March Madness.

Penn State encourages students to ‘Swipe Out Hunger’ from Nov. 13-21. The “Swipe Out Hunger” drive, a partnership between the University and the Swipe Out Hunger national organization, will run from Nov. 13-21 to coincide with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
