We're so excited that you've chosen to be part of the Penn State on-campus community. Preparing for your transition to college life can seem overwhelming, so we've made the process of signing up to LiveOn an easy one.
Step 1: Choose Yes for Housing when you accept the Offer of Admission
If you're an incoming first-year or transfer student who is accepting your offer of admission through MyPennState, you can sign up for on-campus living as you go through that process. Choose "Yes" when housing is offered, pay the associated fees, then agree to the Terms, Conditions, and Regulations of the HFS contract. Your space will be secured once you complete the offer acceptance process.
If you already accepted your offer of admission and did not choose "Yes" for housing, add your name to our Waitlist. If/when space is available, you'll receive an HFS Contract offer in eLiving within 1-2 business days.
Step 2: Explore & select your preferences
Once you've secured your space, log on to eLiving to update any of your housing contract preferences. Incoming students for fall have until May 15 to indicate building/room, roommate, and any other available preference options.
Receive your HFS Contract offer after May 15? You can complete your preferences as you go through the contract acceptance process - and, if you change your mind after the deadline, contact us. We may be able to make changes, even after the deadline has passed.
Step 3: Move in & LiveOn
