Housing Accommodations

Penn State provides a climate of equal opportunity to all programs, activities, and services, and is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as amended in 2008 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. University Housing provides accessible housing for a student with a medical/disability-related concern, including documented mental health concerns. The student must provide documentation from a licensed, qualified professional that substantiates that they have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major life activity and that the requested accommodation is necessary to afford the student equal access.

This process is for a student who is requesting a room accommodation for Housing. There is a different process for requesting a Service Animal or an Emotional Support Animal
