Mail and Packages

All residential students can receive U.S. Postal mail and package deliveries from major delivery agents (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon) while living in University Housing.

As part of the LiveOn community, students have access to the new Luxer One locker system for packages in Olmsted Building. With the new locker system, students can pick up packages when it's most convenient. Residents can log on to their account online at https://app.luxerone.com/login or by downloading the mobile app to accept the terms of service and confirm that contact information is correct.

When a package is sent to students and placed in the lockers, they'll receive an email, text, or app notification; follow the instructions in the message or tap a Penn State mobile or physical credential at the lockers to claim an item.

Tips to ensure successful deliveries:

  • Mail and packages must be addressed to the student's legal or chosen name displayed at accounts.psu.edu.
  • The following items should never be mailed in an envelope: cash, check, gift cards, candy, room key, or liquids.
  • Prohibited items per the HFS Contract will not be released and will be returned to sender (for example, air conditioners, alcohol, escooters, etc.)

Items delivered from restaurants, retail or grocery stores, or third-party companies such as Instacart, GoPuff, DoorDash, etc., are NOT accepted as mail and students are responsible for meeting the driver to receive those deliveries.
