All residential students can receive U.S. Postal mail and package deliveries from major delivery agents (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon) while living in University Housing.

Each on-campus student is assigned a mailbox to share with their roommate. Mailbox numbers correspond with the hall/room number and are provided along with mailbox combinations at check-in. Students who move to a different residence hall room will be assigned to another mailbox. Mail is placed in student mailboxes daily, Monday through Friday. Mailboxes are located near the Housing and Food Services Office inside Port Sky Cafe.

Staff will receive and process packages, sending an email and/or text to residents via eLiving when they're ready for pickup. Please wait until you receive this notification before picking up a package; additional processing time is required once packages are dropped off from the shipper. Packages can be picked up in Port Sky Cafe from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Be prepared to show your id+ Card or mobile credential.

Tips to ensure successful deliveries:

• Mail and packages must be addressed to the student's legal or chosen name displayed at accounts.psu.edu.
• The following items should never be mailed in an envelope: cash, check, gift cards, candy, room key, or liquids.
• Prohibited items per the HFS Contract will not be released and will be returned to sender (for example, air conditioners, alcohol, escooters, etc.)

Items delivered from restaurants, retail or grocery stores, or third-party companies such as Instacart, GoPuff, DoorDash, etc., are NOT accepted as mail and students are responsible for meeting the driver to receive those deliveries.
