Housing and Food Services is excited to announce that a student can now indicate a delegate with whom staff can discuss their Housing and Food Service (HFS) Contract details.

For the fifth consecutive year, Penn State is partnering with the nonprofit Swipe Out Hunger for the fall

University Housing will close for Thanksgiving Break on Saturday, November 22 at Noon. Students who do not have a Break Access HFS Contract are expected to vacate; you may leave your belongings in your room.

Penn State is excited to offer new contactless card readers at student apartments, suites, and bedrooms, making access more convenient and secure while saving students lost room key fees.

Between April 20 and May 9, donate to support the Student Emergency Fund when paying for meals at any campus dining location.

Current students who've made the decision to #LiveOn in 2025-26 can begin the process of securing their space.

The deadline to modify the spring semester Campus Meal Plan level or withdraw excess dining dollars in eLiving is Noon on Friday, May 3.

University Housing will close Saturday, May 4, and all students must check out of their rooms by Noon.

University Housing has extended the deadline for incoming first-year students to indicate housing preferences from May 15 to 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, May 20.

Saikou, a Mechanicsburg-based sushi company that furnishes sushi and poke products to all dining commons at Penn State University Park, donated one dollar for each of the approximately 1,300 boxes of sushi sold on Homecoming Gameday (October 23 vs Illinois) to the Central PA Food Bank. The company also donated $1,500 to the Food Bank and plans a similar donation during March Madness.

Penn State encourages students to ‘Swipe Out Hunger’ from Nov. 13-21. The “Swipe Out Hunger” drive, a partnership between the University and the Swipe Out Hunger national organization, will run from Nov. 13-21 to coincide with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
