Miller Hall

Miller Hall is named after E. Willard Miller (1915-2002). Miller created the Department of Geography at Penn State, was professor, science writer, bibliographer, and helped found the American Society of Professional Geographers. Miller was the recipient of the Ray Hughes Whitbeck Award, and received awards from the PA Dept. of Commerce (1975), PA Governor's Office (1975), PA Academy of Science (1985), and from the Association of American Geographers (1989).
Miller Hall, built in 2004, provides students with modern amenities and conveniences such as air conditioning. Each floor is clustered into houses made up of 8 to 22 student rooms. All residents of Eastview Terrace can utilize the meeting room, conference room, and kitchen located in Brill Hall. Miller Hall is located in Eastview Terrace, South Halls and near the Millennium Science Complex, White Building, HUB-Robeson Center, and is in close proximity to downtown State College.
