Important Housing-related dates for the 2024-25 academic year. Individual events will also be posted on the Important Dates page.

This list does not include dates for the Current Students LiveOn Housing Process.

This list includes the dates and times that University Housing opens/closes for break periods; the University is not able to offer early arrival or late departures, so please plan travel arrangements accordingly.

Semester Fall 2024	Date Dec. 20	Information Deadline to change 2024 fall Campus Meal Plan in eLiving is 12 p.m. (noon) ET Friday, Dec. 20
Semester Fall 2024	Date Dec. 22	Information Fall Semester Ends: University Housing CLOSES at 4 p.m. ET Sunday, Dec. 22 All students, except those with a Break Access/Holiday Housing HFS Contract, must leave the residence halls (belongings can remain)
Semester Spring 2025	Date Jan. 11	Information Spring Semester Begins: University housing OPENS at 8 a.m. ET Saturday, Jan. 11 NO EARLY ARRIVALS permitted
Semester Spring 2025	Date Jan. 20	Information Martin Luther King Jr. Day: no classes, University Housing remains open
Semester Spring 2025	Date Feb. 11	Information Housing Fair 1 - 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, Alumni Hall, HUB-Robeson
Semester Spring 2025	Date Mar. 8	Information Spring Break: University housing CLOSES 12 p.m. (noon) ET Saturday, Mar. 8 All students, except those with a Break Access/Holiday Housing HFS Contract, must leave the residence halls (belongings can remain)
Semester Spring 2025	Date Mar. 10-14	Information Spring Break: no classes, University Housing closed
Semester Spring 2025	Date Mar. 16	Information Spring Break: University housing OPENS at 10 a.m. ET Sunday, Mar. 16 NO EARLY ARRIVALS permitted
Semester Spring 2025	Date May 9	Information Deadline to change 2025 spring Campus Meal Plan in eLiving is 12 p.m. (noon) ET Friday, May 9
Semester Spring 2025	Date May 5-9	Information Final Exams
Semester Spring 2025	Date May 10	Information Spring Semester Ends: University Housing CLOSES at 4 p.m. ET Saturday, May 10 for all students living in East Halls, Wolf and Ritner Halls in Pollock, AND Miller Hall in Eastview Terrace
Semester Spring 2025	Date May 11	Information Spring Semester Ends: University Housing CLOSES at 4 p.m. ET Sunday, May 11 for ALL housing areas (excludes buildings closing on Saturday)
