Summer Conference Academic Programs
WE ARE looking forward to welcoming your group to Penn State's LiveOn experience for your summer conference.
Conference Services offers summer housing and dining options for Penn State academic programs who are interested in hosting college-age visitors participating in summer internships or programs such as Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs). Housing is conveniently located on campus and participants will be within walking distance of computer labs, classroom buildings, dining, and recreational facilities as they enjoy their #LiveOn experience.

Campus Meal Plan
The Campus Meal Plan is available for participants, and is a declining account balance offering flexibility and convenience; only purchases that the participant makes are deducted from their balance - there are no "lost" meal purchases.
The Campus Meal Plan is comprised of two cost components:
Base cost, which covers all operational expenses and is paid up front
Dining dollars, which are loaded onto the participant's account and used to make purchases at a discounted rate based on dining choices.
The amount of dining dollars loaded on the participant's account and covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner purchased at the all-you-care-to-eat dining commons locations. All dining dollars are loaded up front. The participant may use the Campus Meal Plan at other food service operations, such as HUB Dining or the convenience store, but these purchases are not discounted and will utilize more dining dollars. Participants need to budget spending to ensure that they can purchase meals for the duration of their stay. Participants can add additional dining dollars by visiting the Commons Desk.
The Campus Meal Plan cost for summer 2026 is $28.25 ($14.50 base cost and $13.75 dining dollars) per day, multiplied by the total number of days of the program. For example, a participant who arrives May 27 and departs August 5 will be on campus for 71 days. The Campus Meal Plan cost is $2,005.75 ($28.25 x 71); the participant receives $976.25 ($13.75 x 71) dining dollars.
