Irvin Hall

Irvin Hall is named after James Irvin. Irvin donated the 200 acre farm that established the University.
Irvin Hall, built in 1925, is a classic traditional residence hall. The building offers ample study and social spaces and features a living room, recreation/game room, kitchen, and laundry room. Irvin Hall offers coed housing and bedrooms feature fixed and flexible furniture that allows students to arrange furniture in a room a few different ways. Irvin Hall is coed with male and female students assigned to separate floors and a designated bathroom shared by the residents of the floor. Irvin Hall is located in the West Housing area near the Nittany Lion Shrine, Pattee and Paterno Library, Recreation Building (REC Hall), Blue and White Golf Courses, and Hepper Fitness Center.
Waring Commons supports students living in West Halls.
