2022 Summer Session II Housing Arrival

It's almost time for Summer Session II Arrival!

Housing, Dining, and Residence Life are excited to welcome you to Penn State for summer session for the #LiveOn experience. Summer Session II Arrival is scheduled for Monday June 27, 2022 between 9:00am - 4:00pm.

All the details that you need - what to pack, what to leave at home, planning your trip, where to go, what to expect, etc. - are available on the Summer Session Arrival page (https://arrival.psu.edu/summer-II/university-park). There is a lot of information to review, so here are a few key points to help you get ready to #LiveOn.

 

Arrival Tips

  • You MUST Schedule Move In on eLiving - we space out students' arrival times to help with the flow of traffic, parking, and to ease congestion in the building for elevator use. 
  • You should move in at a different time than your roommate, so that you both have space to unpack.
  • At your Scheduled Move In time, that is when you will enter the check-in location (as indicated on the Arrival site, based on your date/time).
  • Guests are permitted to assist you with unpacking.
  • Only ONE temporary parking permit is issued to each student, which is valid for 20-minutes only for unloading. Parking permits will not be issued for second vehicles - if you have two vehicles, load up one vehicle with all the items and have everyone met at the building. Second trips to the housing area are not permitted during peak Arrival times - if you go shopping, you will need to park in the long-term parking lot and walk to the housing area.
  • RVs, box trucks, trailers, large vehicles, and U-Hauls are not permitted in the housing area.
  • Bring your Penn State id+ Card or another form of ID for when you check-in.
  • Parents and family members will be asked to wait in a separate area while students are in line to check-in.
